Elthams Record Breaking Scone
It’s official, as of August 2010 Eltham holds the record for the world’s biggest scone. Eltham broke the existing Guinness World Record with a giant 121kg scone - creaming the previous British record of 60kg.
You could smell it cooking all over town. It was an all day job, and they succeeded in shattering the previous world record.

It was a sweet and not savoury scone, and Shaun McCarthy from Eltham Four Square told me the scone was still warm 22 hours after it came out of the oven!!
Well done!!!!!!
